Troika’s VersoProof for the HP Designjet 1050 is a simple to use, low cost, double-sided imposition proofing solution based on the HP 1050 printer. It is used to produce data accurate, in register duplexed impositions of jobs for production or sales purposes.

VersoProof application is used to capture front and back impositions. Having captured the front and back impositions as a pair, it processes them together to ensure they are centered on the paper size selected, accurately aligned front to back, and sent to an HP 1050 printer for printing.

The first side is printed from the roll and then cut to sheet. The reversed sheet is simply aligned to the dotted blue lines on the platen as per the standard sheet load on the 1050, allowing the second side to be printed accurately from VersoProof. It really is that easy!

Two types of duplexing papers can be used:

• Suitable single coated paper may be used for duplexed position and content proofs, saving approximately 40% on the cost of two single-sided sheets.
  
  
• For colour profiled jobs, dual coated media is used, saving approximately 30% on the cost of two single-sided sheets.
