The Flipper is a 32-bit Windows based application that is loaded either onto the Host System‘s PC or onto a Print Server. It is placed between the output of the host system‘s RIP and the printer.

Troika Flipper is a unique package of software and hardware aimed at high quality multi-page printers who want to have automatically imposed and backed up proofs of up to B1 in size.

Using the unique duplexer unit in conjunction with the Designjet 5000/5500 series wide format printer, proofs can be produced quickly and accurately being deposited automatically in the paper catcher with excellent registration. So now instead of film separations to view on the light table, accurate pre-production mock-ups can be passed between printer and customer.

Automated handling of double-sided paper sequence

• Image front is printed and then cut to sheet from the roll
• Unload the cut sheet to the Troika Flipper
• Unload the paper roll to held position
• Load the sheet to image the reverse side,
• Print sheet and release
• The roll is reloaded automatically

• The Troika Duplex Viewer Option provides you with the ability to visually soft view duplexed files on the monitor prior to output.
• The Troika Tiff Input Option recombines pre-separated 1-bit TIFF files and converts 3- and 4-colour files into the printer language after linearisation and colour correction. Including re-calculation of resolution.
